Lymphedema

Lymphedema is an abnormal accumulation of protein rich fluid between the cells, which causes chronic inflammation, fibrosis (hardening of skin), and adipose (fat) tissue accumulation in the affected area.

Mobile rehab approach to lymphedema treatment is complete decongestive therapy (CDT) is currently believed by many to be the gold standard of treatment. CDT consists of four components.

TMJ

Often times with Temporomandibular Dysfunction you will have clicking, trouble opening the jaw, and neck pain.

Treatments may include, postural re education, soft tissue mobilization, stretching, exercise and dry needling.

Headaches

Include tension headaches, migraines, often affects our quality of life with consistent nagging pain. Increased used of cell phones, computers and bad posture all lead to chronic headaches.

Treatments may include, postural re education, soft tissue mobilization, stretching, exercise and dry needling

Neck Pain

Among the most common conditions in the world of rehab, “neck pain” is a blanket term that covers a wide range of issues that result in pain. It could be something obvious like a sports injury or nasty fall. Or maybe it’s the culmination of a degenerative issue related to posture or consistent stress.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Low Back Pain

Among the most common conditions in the world of rehab, “back pain” is a blanket term that covers a wide range of issues that result in pain.

Shoulder Pain

The most common cause of pain involves the rotator cuff tear. You may also experience a less severe condition like tendonitis, arthritis, labrum tears, overuse injuries or bursitis. Either way, this constant pain can be very debilitating in everyday life and even interrupt healthy sleep.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Elbow Pain

Often from overuse common injuries include golfers or tennis elbow, nerve loss. Often times pain will be felt in the elbow or can travel up or down the arm.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Wrist Pain

Commonly caused by overuse injuries such as muscle strains, common injuries include carpal tunnel de quervain’s tenosynovitis. Pain can be felt in the thumb area, fingers/joints.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Hip Pain

The hip is a weight-bearing joint, and that means it endures a lot of wear and tear over a lifetime. This can lead to overuse injuries like labrum tears, sciatica, muscle strain or tendonitis. As people become more sedentary, hip muscles tend to tighten up and that can lead to structural issues as well. And of course, acute injuries related to cartilage, inflammation or pinched nerves need to be treated as well.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Knee Pain

Knee pain comes from many sources and in many severities. You could be dealing with something acute like a tear or damage to ligaments and cartilage. Or you might have a nagging injury related to long-term muscle strain or tendinitis. Either way, your knees are weight-bearing joints that are essential in everyday life.

Therapeutic exercises designed to strengthen the surrounding muscles, joints and ligaments will be our primary mode of treatment. But we’ll plan your treatment very differently if you’re post-surgery or serious injury versus tackling a long-term ache or pain. We’ll support your recovery with other hands-on treatments like: stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Ankle Pain

Often from muscular overuse injuries like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis foot and ankle pain can be from poor mechanics or foot wear. You may experience sharp pain with walking or running, swelling.

Each person’s treatment is individualized to address the root cause of the problem. Treatments may include, soft tissue massage, stretching, exercise, dry needling, cupping.

Arthritis

While there are nine types of arthritis, two are most common — rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis — and they each have unique mechanisms that cause pain. With osteoarthritis, the cartilage around your joints wears down over time and that friction can be painful. Rheumatoid arthritis stems from an autoimmune condition where your body attacks your own healthy tissue.

Arthritis is a common condition, but people often put off treatment until they’re in moderate-to-severe pain. Whether you’re already there or just a little stiff, we’ll implement a regimen of gentle exercises to maintain healthy joint movement and range of motion.

Falls prevention

There are many reasons why people start falling it could bethe result of eyesight decreasing, physical strength eroding, unsafe environments and communication issues between the brain and body. While many see this is a “normal” part of aging, clinical research shows we can significantly reduce your risk with the right intervention program.
